In 2024, we had the honor of attending two University trade shows that enabled us to broaden our network, deepen relationships, and uncover valuable insights into the ever-changing needs of the higher education sector. From Rhode Island to Halifax, these events offered a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry professionals, explore new partnerships, and enhance ElectionBuddy’s solutions to better serve educational institutions.

Our journey at NERCOMP began with a focus on connecting with higher education professionals and technology leaders, including key partners like Microsoft. The event brought together a diverse group of attendees, from IT staff and faculty to researchers and students, making it an exceptional platform to network and collaborate.
Highlight of the Show:
Engaging with higher education professionals allowed us to gain critical insights into their unique technology needs. A key discovery was learning how institutions organize student data and manage votes, whether through Google or Microsoft ecosystems. This insight underscored the importance of seamless integrations with both platforms to ensure ElectionBuddy can cater to all institutional requirements.
At CANHEIT, our focus shifted to strengthening relationships with Canadian higher education institutions and exploring potential technology partnerships. This event provided a prime opportunity to connect with technology companies interested in integrating with ElectionBuddy to support voter data management.
Highlight of the Show:
We had insightful conversations with institutions expressing a strong interest in incorporating ElectionBuddy’s platform to support SSO/API capabilities. This demand for integration, particularly to accommodate both Google and Microsoft users, reaffirmed our commitment to delivering flexible, scalable solutions.
