We're excited to announce that, by popular request, ElectionBuddy has increased the flexibility in managing voter choices with full control over the minimum and maximum number of choices selections for each position or question on your ballot! This feature enhances our commitment to making online voting more accessible and adaptable for all users.
Certain organizations have specific criteria for their voting processes. Below are two example scenarios:
The Anytown Builder Association conducts a survey to identify the most crucial changes needed for their association. They typically have ten issues, but only the top three will be actioned.
To accommodate this, the association can set a minimum requirement of three choices ranked on their ballot while allowing participants to rank up to ten options overall. This ensures they capture comprehensive feedback while focusing on the most critical items.
The Anytown Association for Voting holds annual elections for two board members and selects an alternate member to step in if required.
To facilitate this, voters can choose a minimum of one candidate and a maximum of three. This approach helps identify the most preferred alternate while encouraging voter participation in the decision-making process.
This change allows us to cater to even more voting use cases! If you have any questions, please feel free to use our chat in the bottom right hand corner, or reach out to support@electionbuddy.com.
