Feature Focus: Paper Ballot Entry

ElectionBuddy has revamped the paper ballot entry! We revamped the paper ballot entry to help make the process more intuitive for our administrator. With these changes to the paper ballot entry we help speed up the process of entering the paper ballots received back.

Entering Paper Ballots

In ElectionBuddy the old system for entering paper ballots brought you to a form that didn't really closely replicate what your final ballot looks like in ElectionBuddy. We changed that. With these changes, the paper ballot entry replicates the end result of what you had built in ElectionBuddy.

Mouse Entry

The paper ballot entry now emulates the online ballot page, what you see is what you get. This means that you can simply use your mouse to mark of the selections provided on the paper ballot the voter has sent back! This will make entering the paper ballots a breeze, as you're already familiar with the functionality of the online ballot

Keyboard Entry

Our new and improved paper ballot entry offers the ability for you to enter a paper ballot by just using your keyboard keys! If you have a lot of paper ballots to enter, this can help speed up the entry process.

Conclusion

This change allows the administrator to more easily be able to manage any paper ballots that they have returned back. This helps make a lengthy paper ballot tally shorter, which helps save you time for other voting duties.
