Feature Focus: Text Editor

Recently ElectionBuddy has added more features to our text editor! This will allow you to better customize your vote and enhance the voting experience for your voters!

Current Text Editing Features

We currently offer the below following features with our text editor:

• Text sizing. Options include: Small, Normal, Large, and Huge (New!)
• Bolding
• Italics
• Underline
• Hyperlink
• Video embedding (New!)
• Strikethrough
• Text color options. Options include: Black, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple (New!)
• Highlight color options. Options include: White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple (New!)
• Numbered list
• Bullet list
• Alignment. Options include: Left, Right, Center (New!)
• Line break
• Formatting removal
• Variables (for more information on our variables, check out: Personalizing your Notices and Ballots with Variables)

This text editor is available throughout ElectionBuddy! You can use the text editor in the following sections: Ballot Information and Instructions, Question Details, when adding information for candidates/options, Ballot Review, Ballot Confirmation, and with Advance Notice Customization.

We hope that with these customizations options that you are able to build out the ballot of your dreams.
