Feature Focus: Logos in Notices

When voters receive notices, it is super important they know who the notice is coming from. One of the best ways to mark a notice as recognizable from your organization is to include your logo. This helps the voters have more confidence in the fact that the notification is coming from your organization, especially if they are used to external notifications including the logo.

Adding Logos to Notices

ElectionBuddy has added the ability for administrators to include the logo for their organization in the notices that we populate! We had heard in the past from administrators that some voters were discarding our postcard notices as it didn't look enough like a notice from their organization. This prompted us to look into adding the organization logo to not just the ballot in ElectionBuddy, but also in the notices that voters receive.

This means that you can now include your organizations logo in: Email Notices, Postcards, Mailed Notices, and Printed Notices. This helps voters properly identify that this notification is coming directly from your organization.

The Importance of Branding

Whenever branding is used it helps to create a look that is cohesive with everything within the organization. For many organizations the logo is important as it speaks to who they are as a brand, and helps make them easily recognizable to people who are within the organization.

When a organization logo is included in a notification this helps build a sense of trust that the notification is coming from the organization. As well, the logo will help grab the voters attention when they open up the notification. Seeing the logo will help signal to voters that this is a notification from the organization they are a part of. If the notification is recognized as being from the organizations voters will be more likely to participate and the logo will help build trust in the voting process.
