As an administrator, you may be very aware of the fact that collecting nominations can be a chore. ElectionBuddy has strived to make this easier and has added the ability for administrators to collect text, photos, and a PDF from the candidates when the nomination is filled out.
When your nominees are filling out their nomination form, they will be able to provide the exact information they want others to see in the "Add Information" section of the nomination ballot.
From there, voters will have the option to upload a photo, include text for their biography, or even upload a PDF (for example, maybe they have a CV they want to include!).
Even better, once the nominations have been collected you can easily duplicate the nomination vote. Now, when you duplicate a nomination where nominees have been asked to add their information the information they've provided will automatically populate on the duplicated vote. For more information check out our help article: Nomination Voting
As ElectionBuddy copies the information over for you, it makes it easier for you to review the information and make any edits to the information as necessary. For example, maybe the nominee submitted a photo that does not meet the guidelines. You can edit the pre-populated ballot as you normally would when building a vote to add in a new photo or remove the photo for that candidate.
We're excited to be able to help make this process easier for our administrators! If you require any support, please reach out to us at support@electionbuddy.com or use our chat in the bottom right hand corner.
